Andrew Denniff

Andrew joined Rotherham after six years as the Policy & Representation Manager at Sheffield Chamber of Commerce, having previously worked for a national trade association in the dairy industry. He was born and still lives in Sheffield, having studied Business Studies & Marketing at Huddersfield Polytechnic from 1976-79. He is a school governor in Sheffield and is also chairman of the Meadowhall Sunday Football League, having previously been a referee in his younger days and between 1999- 2003, serving as an assistant referee on the Football League.

Brij joined the Chamber is March 2006 as Business Development Manager with specific responsibility for the retail and licensing sectors. Brij has worked in education and training in both the public and private sectors for over 20 years and has been involved extensively in European funding as well as project work with the NHS. Whilst at the DWP Brij was at the forefront of developing and implementing NVQ`s with national employers, training organisations, charities and the voluntary sectors. Brij was also part of a team which visited China to promote NVQ`s/MCI with the British Landscape ITO (BLITO). Similarly Brij visited South Africa to promote NVQ`s for customers from the printing, polymer, landscape ITO`s as well as the motor vehicle sectors. Brij`s hobbies include reading walking and entering David Dickinson look-a-like competitions!

Chris Ellis

Chris joined the Chamber on a temporary contract in August 2007 before securing the permanent role of Finance Manager based in the Barnsley office. His role requires working closely with the newly formed finance team and the Group Financial Controller. Chris has previously had finance based roles in the Private and Voluntary sectors and has also gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Accountancy and is currently working towards becoming a fully qualified Accountant with CIMA. Away from work Chris is an avid Sheffield Wednesday fan and Season ticket holder. Other hobbies include plenty of socialising, golf and still trying to play football on Sunday mornings.

Christine Millward

Christine is the Operational Training Manager for the Enterprise Division of Rotherham Chamber of Commerce. Christine has been involved with business-start up training and advice for 20 years. Christine is an experienced and accredited Business Advisor with the Institute of Business Advisors, and is also a SFEDI accredited Qualified Assessor with the Training and Development Lead Body, an Internal Verifier in Business Assessment and Diagnostics, and an assessor/internal verifier in customer service. Christine spent two years at Huddersfield University to gain a Certificate in Education - Teaching Qualification. In the late 1980`s, along with a colleague, Christine was responsible for devising the training programmes for business-start ups for the Rotherham Enterprise Agency, which are still operational within the Consortium. Christine also has involvement with the Prince`s Business Trust; helping young people secure funding and assistance. Christine further supports Livewire and Young Enterprise and has for many years acted as a judge and mentor at competition level. Christine`s hobbies include reading, travel and socialising.
